Caregiver

As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of elderly clients by maintaining a clean and safe home environment. You will provide routine personal health care services and essential housekeeping tasks that contribute to the client’s overall health and comfort. Your tasks will be done under the supervision of a care manager/scheduler, who may not always be there onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily personal care activities, including feeding, bathing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Prepare meals according to the client’s dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry, tailored to the client’s capabilities.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.
• Provide companionship and support to enhance the client’s quality of life.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 months experience or training in assisting the elderly with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Proficiency in tasks such as feeding, bathing, toileting, ambulation, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of elderly clients.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
